After
years and years of visiting Mexico City, one of the great cities
of the world, we have forgotten about some of the fantastic attractions
there as we went off to Oaxaca, Chiapas, Veracruz, Michoacán,
and other exciting areas. Several people kept asking when
is Tierra del Sol going to go back to Mexico City. We decided
to return this summer, when the weather is great, and before
the city is crowded with the July and August vacationers. Our
concentration will be on some of the magnificent museums (Mexico
City ranks up there with Paris, London, and New York City in
that area), while we have our meals in some of the finest new
restaurants—and some old favorites—in the city. We
will stay in a great boutique hotel, La Casona, in the lovely
Colonia Roma neighborhood.
