Due to popular demand, Tierra del
Sol is again offering a week-long program to experience the arts,
the antiquities, and much more that the lovely colonial city of
Puebla has to offer. The incredible colonial architecture, displayed
in churches, public buildings, museums, and private mansions has
earned Puebla the distinction of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Talavera tile produced in and around the city is also world
famous. From mole poblano to chiles en nogada, Puebla has also made
magnificent contributions to world cuisine. You will be able to
enjoy all of this from your base at a fine hotel in the very center
of the city. In addition, special guided tours will take you from
Puebla for nearby Cholula with its archeological sites and vast
array of churches and Tlaxcala, capital of the state of the same
name, where you will visit additional artisans and archeological
sites.
